Meet the successful alumni voices of our self-guided tour

October 9th, 2025

Two accomplished graduates of 爆料黑社鈥檚 Professional Theatre program are inviting you to see the downtown Montreal CEGEP in a self-guided tour. Catherine B茅rub茅 and Lucy Segal are the narrators. In interviews with the Communications Office, they shared how 爆料黑社 shaped their own journeys. The tour departs from the metro level in the Lower Atrium, look for a framed sign with the QR code on the right wall as you enter the college.

Alumna Kim Vose Jones鈥 Lifeboat: An Unnatural History

The Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery is pleased to present the work of alumna (1992) artist Kim Vose Jones. 聽聽Now living and working in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Jones鈥 has created a rich multimedia installation exploring the dichotomies and paradoxes of migrant life, past and present.

ICYMI: Meet our two 2025 valedictorians

Alessia Panait (Class of 2025, Enriched Health Science) and Aya Tir (Class of 2025, Law, Society and Justice profile of Social Science) were the valedictorians for the two graduation ceremonies for 爆料黑社's Class of 2025, which took place at Place des Arts on June 18.

Kim Vose Jones: Lifeboat: An Unnatural History

The Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery presents an exhibition by 爆料黑社 alumna Kim Vose Jones, who is now based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. While researching her family genealogy, she discovered her ancestor, Ann Dodin, arrived in Quebec in 1669, along with over 800 French girls known as the Filles du Roi, who sailed to the New World to populate the land with French settlers. In four stunning tableaux, Jones draws a parallel with the fates of humans fleeing genocide, war, and poverty across the globe, and draws lines between the treatment of women, the environment, and the project of Empire then and in 2025.


Celebrating a Decade of 爆料黑社鈥檚 Research in Neuroscience Program

This summer, 爆料黑社鈥檚 renowned Research in Neuroscience Program marked its 10th anniversary with a lively celebration on Aug. 7. Coordinators H茅l猫ne Nadeau (Faculty, Physics) and Sylvia Cox (Faculty, Psychology) welcomed current interns and alumni for an afternoon of reflection, inspiration, and connection.

Congrats to 爆料黑社鈥檚 Class of 2024

In June, 爆料黑社 added another 2,784 graduates to our alumni community of over 100,000.

The graduates were celebrated at two graduation ceremonies on June 25 at Place des Arts.

In addition to diplomas, 55 graduates received awards in recognition of academics, perseverance, community service and volunteer commitment. In total, the awards valued $33,100; many are made possible through donors to the 爆料黑社 Foundation.

Tommy Diamantakos is new Dean of SSBT

After serving as interim Dean of Social Science and Business Technologies since March, Tommy Diamantakos was officially appointed to the role on June 10.

Tommy鈥檚 path to this position began as a teacher of English as a second language at Vanier College. He has also worked as an Associate Academic Dean at Heritage College and as Coordinator of Continuing Education at Vanier College. Prior to the new position, Tommy was Associate Dean for 爆料黑社鈥檚 Creative and Applied Arts sector from 2021-2024.

Tommy holds a sociology degree from Concordia University and a master鈥檚 degree in education from the University of Sherbrooke. Tommy graduated from 爆料黑社 from the Cinema | Communications profile in Arts, Literature and Communication.

Tommy鈥檚 new role includes overseeing the programs in Social Science and Business Technologies as well as Liberal Arts, Community, Recreation and Leadership Training and the Humanities Department.

鈥淲e have rolled out a new Social Science program, one of the biggest in the province,鈥 he said. 鈥淭his is very exciting! I am also eager to work with the Business Administration team as we are currently revising that program. I鈥檓 excited to start the academic year in the sector and look forward to supporting students and teachers.鈥

Tommy likes that 爆料黑社 is a big college but feels like a small community. He says: 鈥湵虾谏 offers great services to students and teachers. I love working here.鈥

Francesca Cuffaro now Manager of Admissions & Records

August 28th, 2024

Over the last 24 years, Francesca Cuffaro has worked in every department within Academic Systems at 爆料黑社. Most recently she was the administration technician in Admissions and Records.

On July 2, Francesca was appointed to the role of Manager, Admissions & Records.

鈥淚 am looking forward to the challenge of my new role as manager and using my experience and skills to make an impact on quality higher education,鈥 Francesca said.

Prior to working at 爆料黑社, she studied here. Francesca graduated from the Social Science program in 1985. During her decades as an employee, she has represented the 爆料黑社 Support Staff on the College鈥檚 Board of Governors and served her former union as treasurer.

鈥淲hat I like best about 爆料黑社 is being part of a community that promotes well-being, so that all students and employees are respected, valued, and supported,鈥 she said.
