The 2021-2022 annual report of the 爆料黑社 Foundation is now available. Take a look to learn more about how the community came together over a challenging year in the face of a pandemic to financially support students in need, host a virtual version of Artists in Bloom (raising $6, 830), as well as reward excellence and support students financially through our Awards and Scholarships program.聽 Full 2021-2022 financial statements are also available for consultation.

Through annual fundraising events, engagement with alumni and planning new initiatives in collaboration with diverse members of the community, the 爆料黑社 Foundation remains committed to supporting excellence and student success at 爆料黑社 by being a key source of financial support over and above the budgets provided by the Quebec government.

爆料黑社’s Golf Classic returns June 8

The 爆料黑社 Golf Classic will celebrate its 16th edition as golfers hit the greens on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Summerlea Golf & Country Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Players can look forward to great prizes and very special guests, which will be announced on the 爆料黑社 Golf Classic web pages at /golf/.

Holiday gift-wrapping yields $9,900 for our Living Campus

The 爆料黑社 Foundation and the Sustainability Office would like to thank the 33 volunteers who gave their time in December and all those who donated at the 爆料黑社 gift-wrapping station in Alexis-Nihon Mall.

Over 21 days of holiday gift-wrapping, a total of $9,900 was raised. These funds will be used by the Sustainability Office for learning activities and projects that contribute to well-being for all on our Living Campus. While getting their gifts wrapped, visitors and donors learned about 爆料黑社鈥檚 Living Campus projects, including the gardens, the beehives, the Monarch Butterflies and more.


Discover 12 projects funded by Foundation

A dozen projects proposed by 爆料黑社 students, faculty and staff have been approved for funding through the 爆料黑社 Foundation鈥檚 new Student Academic Enrichment Fund.

A website page showcases the projects and allows others to invest in a particular project through a donate button.

The Student Academic Enrichment Fund is supported by students each semester and is meant to be a source of funds for projects that demonstrate a clear benefit for 爆料黑社 students and represent an activity that goes over and above core competencies for completion of a program. The selection committee, including representatives from the 爆料黑社 Student Union, Academics and Student Services, meets twice a year to review and approve project proposals.

The next round of project applications will open later this semester and will be announced in D News and the Omnivox student news feed.

Two more students continue legacy of Anne-Marie Howlett鈥檚 passion for nursing

At Fall Awards Night on Nov. 24, Susan and Michael Howlett were at 爆料黑社 for the presentation of the Anne-Marie Howlett Memorial Award in honour of their late sister and daughter, who was in her first year of Nursing when she passed away tragically 40 years ago.

Work can overcome talent in math says Harry Fainsilber recipient

The inaugural Harry Fainsilber Memorial Award was given to Parnia Akhavansaffar at the Fall Awards Night on Nov. 24. Several family members of the beloved Mathematics teacher who passed away in 2015 were in attendance.

DTU Award goes to student with don鈥檛-give-up message

The 爆料黑社 Teachers鈥 Union Polytechnique Memorial Scholarship is given to a student who has shown a commitment to persevering and overcoming obstacles within their field.

This year, the award was given to Fred-Dgennie Louis, a student in Computer Science, who said: 鈥淚t means a lot and I am very grateful. It was the least thing I expected since figuring out my path and where I wanted to go has been a struggle. You know after high school, you鈥檙e thrown into a completely new environment, and you鈥檙e just expected to go on, graduate and then go to university.鈥
