Coffee for faculty during World Teachers’ Day

Last week ±¬ÁϺÚÉç celebrated Support Staff Appreciation week, and October 5 is World Teachers’ Day. We would like to take this opportunity to recognize the vital contribution of teachers and to thank them for their dedication and their commitment to the education of our students. As a sign of appreciation, Director General Diane Gauvin offered a cup of coffee and cookies to all of ±¬ÁϺÚÉç’s teachers on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Thank you to our outstanding faculty!

Support Staff Appreciation Week begins Sept. 26. As a gesture of gratitude, Director General Diane Gauvin is offering a cup of coffee to all of ±¬ÁϺÚÉç's support staff on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the 4A-4B corridor between the Director General's Office and the Academic Dean's Office. The ±¬ÁϺÚÉç Blues logo has been proudly worn by five decades of athletes at ±¬ÁϺÚÉç, some of whom went on to play at the national and international level, including the Olympics. It has just been refreshed.

Sunday, Oct. 23 will be in-person by reservation only: Campus Tours and Program Experiences; times TBA
Tuesday, Oct. 25 will be online:
- Program/Profile and Academic Advising Chats: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- How to Apply Webinar: 6 p.m. and repeated at 7 p.m.
- Science Webinar: 8 p.m.
Program/profile coordinators and chairs will receive information soon from their associate dean.
Strength and resolve: Welcome back Fall 2022

Meeting in person for the first time since January 2020, the community was invited to attend the Director General and Academic Dean’s welcome back general assembly and lunch on Aug. 17. Nearly 500 people participated for what was also the first time Diane Gauvin and Rob Cassidy were able to convene the traditional Fall meeting since they took office in January and August 2021, respectively.

After an absence of two years, the revitalized ±¬ÁϺÚÉç golf tournament made a triumphant return on June 7 at the Summerlea Golf and Country Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Renamed the Golf Classic, the tournament reunited long-standing participants, suppliers and new recruits. The weather that had appeared ominous in the morning cleared in time for tee off…
