Program Transfer Information

Thinking of switching programs?

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Deadline: Nov. 1 (for Winter 2026 entry)
  • No fee to submit a Program Transfer Request in Omnivox → Admissions & Program Transfer
  • You can usually transfer for the fall semester; limited options are available for winter.
  • If your request isn’t approved, you’ll remain in your current program, academic standing permitting.
  • Your R Score (CRC) includes all CEGEP courses, but a second CRC is calculated for your new program.
  • Some programs require prerequisites, portfolios, interviews, or auditions — check before applying.
  • Students transferring into a new program may be subject to Law 14. Learn more:
