Receiving this award is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. The Division 1 Women鈥檚 basketball team and community have become an extension of my family that I have a lot of love for. From wins and losses to fun road trips, my teammates have become my sisters, and I will forever be grateful for all that they have taught me and the incredible experiences we had together. This award will not only help towards furthering my education but also taking the right step into my future career.
